Upload Your Documents

It’s easy to securely send us your documents. To ensure that communication between employees and the FTP server is encrypted, you will need to use Filezilla FTP client instead of Internet Explorer. You can download it for free at http://filezilla-project.org/download.php?type=client

  1. Download the Filezilla FTP Client: http://filezilla-project.org/download.php?type=client
  2. Run the installer program and accept all the default settings in the installation wizard. When you get to “Choose Components”, check “Desktop Icon” and click next. When the installation is complete, you will have a Filezilla Client icon on your desktop.
  3. Open Filezilla by clicking on the icon on your desktop.
  4. You will need to get some information from your CPA, including an IP address, username, password, and port number. Enter the IP address in the Host box, and your username and password in those boxes. In the Port box, enter the port number.
  5. Click QuickConnect.
  6. The first time you connect to the FTP server, you will get the following prompt. Make sure to check “Always trust certificate in future sessions” and click OK.
  7. Once you are connected, you will see a bunch of folders under the “Remote Site” section of the Filezilla FTP client. These are the folders you can upload to or download from.
  8. Filezilla works similarly to Windows Explorer, so if you want to upload a file from your computer, just drag it from the “Local Site” section to the folder on the “Remote Site”.
